Through research, education, and practical initiatives, we aim to empower individuals to achieve mental, emotional, and social flourishing, creating a harmonious and compassionate society where happiness is truly attainable for all.
Objectives to Advance Research, Education & Happiness
Projects: Every year there will be about ten projects given to the students in the university and their project name and groups who work on it will be highlighted.
Intermediate-Term Objectives (3-5 years)
- Expanded Curriculum: Develop specialised degree programmes or concentrations focused on the disciplines relevant to well-being and happiness.
- Faculty Recruitment: Attract faculty members who are experts in mindfulness, yoga, psychology, philosophy, and theology, further strengthening the institution's expertise in these areas
- Interdisciplinary Research Centre: Create an interdisciplinary research centre that brings together scholars and researchers from various disciplines to conduct in-depth studies on well-being and happiness.
- Community Outreach: Extend well-being and happiness programmes and workshops to the broader local and regional community, fostering positive change beyond the campus borders.
- Enhanced Happiness and Wellness Facilities: Expand and enhance the wellness centre, offering a wider range of services, including counselling, meditation spaces, and wellness coaching.
Short-Term Objectives (1-3 years)
- Curriculum Integration: Integrate elements of mindfulness, yoga, psychology, philosophy, and spiritual science into existing academic programmes, creating a foundation for holistic well-being education.
- Faculty Development: Provide training and development opportunities for faculty to incorporate well-being practices and research into their teaching and mentoring roles.
- Student Engagement: Launch well-being initiatives, workshops, and extracurricular activities to engage students actively in practices that promote happiness and resilience.
- Research Initiatives: Initiate research projects and collaborations among faculty and students to explore the relationships between mindfulness, yoga, psychology, philosophy, and theology in fostering well-being.
- Wellness Centre Establishment:Establish a basic wellness centre or programme on campus to provide resources and support for mental, emotional, and social wellness.
Long-Term Objectives (5+ years)
- National and International Recognition: Achieve recognition as a leading institution in the field of happiness and well-being, attracting students, faculty, and researchers from around the world.
- Advanced Research Initiatives: Conduct groundbreaking research that contributes significantly to the understanding of human happiness, leading to innovations in practice and policy.
- Global Partnerships: Establish partnerships with other institutions, organisations, and governments to promote well-being and happiness on a global scale.
